Special Needs Awareness Inclusive Family Day

We are thrilled to invite all Key Biscayne community members to "Special Needs Awareness Inclusive Family Day", the first event of its kind in Key Biscayne. This event is designed to bring families together and foster a sense of community, while also raising awareness about special needs and promoting inclusivity. Best of all, the event is completely free!

The event will take place on the field of Key Biscayne K-8 Center, with an early "Super Hero" hour from 3:30 to 5:00 pm, exclusively for families with children of special needs. During this hour, families can enjoy exclusive access to the activities and entertainment, providing a safe and comfortable environment for children with special needs; many of whom have a hard time with big crowds and long lines. '

The general admission will then be from 5:00 to 7:30 pm, during which time all families can enjoy a wide range of activities, free rides, and entertainment. There will be plenty of food vendors on hand. Special needs service providers will be present to provide support, resources, and information for families in need. Furthermore, the event will include a Volunteer Program where we connect young members of our community with children and young adults with special needs, as a way to bring our community closer to those with special needs and foster nurturing connections.
