I Dream of a Queen celebrates the magic realism of Sonia Menna Barreto. In this series, Menna Barreto works with three dimensional pieces and the deconstruction of her queens, Marie Bonita and Catherine of Braganza. When choosing her queens, Menna Barreto does not take in consideration their places in history but the dialogue between the real and magic, the dialogue between the present world and the world of dreams.
