THE KEY BISCAYNE BEACH CLUB IS PROUD TO BRING GERARD LOISEL’S MARINE BIOLOGY CAMP TO THE BEACH CLUB FOR A ONE-DAY CAMP ON MONDAY JANUARY 23RD 2023 (TEACHER WORK DAY) FOR KIDS 8 TO 14 YEARS OLD.
Gerard Loisel, has been teaching marine biology to students of all ages for the past 46 years. For 26 years, he taught marine biology and oceanography at Nova Southeastern University where he was the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Teacher of the Year for 2008-2009. Loisel was also the host of the PBS television series "Marine Aquarium World" and in March of 2020 was featured in a Discovery Science Channel series.
CAMP HOURS: 9AM to 1PM
CAMPERS WILL EXPLORE A SEAGRASS COMMUNITY, LEARN ABOUT DANGEROUS MARINE ANIMALS, AND PLAY “NAME THAT FISH”.
