Kathy DiRusso
Kathy DiRusso brings more than 40 years of employment and staffing to her role with Best Buddies International. As Director of Jobs Operations on the National Jobs Team, she helps expand meaningful employment opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across 22 states, in 39 locations, supporting 80+ field staff.
After joining the organization in 2016, Kathy quickly recognized that fear, particularly around Social Security benefits, often stands in the way of opportunity. Rather than accept that barrier, she became a certified Community Partner Work Incentive Counselor, CPWIC, empowering individuals and families with clarity, confidence, and choice.
