Group Sales Representative

The Group Sales Representative is responsible for generating and maximizing group sales
revenue by actively and aggressively prospecting, soliciting, and delivering group visits to Miami
Seaquarium.  Performing a range of duties including generating and nurturing leads, selling
group visits, processing and servicing all group requests, handling all group customer inquiries,
client management and reporting. The core focus of this position is the development of annual
contracts and agreements that generate annual revenue and attendance growth.

  • Design and implementation of a strategic sales plan that exceeds revenue and
    attendance targets across various group types, including youth and faith-based
    organizations, family outings, corporate events, ticket consignees, and 3 rd party
  • Engage in superior customer service by making information and product knowledge
    readily available through various resources; develop sales collateral and
    presentations; make product appeal to the target market, flyers, etc.
  • Establish calendar of direct-sales efforts that include weekly emails, telephone calls
    and in-person appointments and meetings when appropriate
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales with proven record of growth; preferably in
    the tourism, destination, hospitality or related field
  • Ability to work some weekends and holidays
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and ticketing platforms is a
  • Must be available to travel locally as required
  • Bilingual candidates preferred– English/ Spanish
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
