Join the Village of Key Biscayne tonight July 21 at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for a virtual town hall on solid waste service, recycling, and code enforcement.
Brought on by the unsightly placement of bins and bulk trash piles, the Village Council expressed their desire for an Ordinance regulating the maintenance standards and placement of solid waste and recycling bins, and bulk trash piles. This Ordinance will provide code enforcement with the tools to uphold a higher maintenance standard desired by KB residents.
This town hall serves as a space for members of the public to discuss the Ordinance amending Chapter 5 Property Maintenance Standards that is going to second reading at the July 28 Special Council meeting.
The meeting will start with a brief presentation from Village staff, reviewing the changes brought on by this Ordinance, and will shift into an open Q&A with KB residents.
