Key Biscayne Citizen Scientist Project presents MANAGING FLOOD RISK on a Barrier Island: general flood hazards and the best practices for managing flood risk. This workshop will be reviewing best practices for structure elevation, street elevations, permeable streets, sidewalk elevations, and seawall elevation -- as well as what other cities are doing to prevent flooding and flood hazards.
