Celebrate earth day with Miami Waterkeeper at our biggest & most collaborative event yet! join us at historic virginia key beach park for a day of action & connection featurine a marine debbris clean-up, native planting with Frost MUVE, interactive art activations, and opportunities to engage with 15+ community organizations serving South Florida.
IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Please be on time as registration begins 30 minutes before the volunteer workday starts. Please arrive at 9:00am. Bring:

Refillable water bottle. Stay hydrated and be prepared to work outside and in the water.

Closed-toe shoes/water shoes are required and long-sleeved shirts are recommended (shorts and clothes that can get wet).

A hat, sunblock, and insect repellent (recommended).

Gloves and trash grabbers (if you have them, otherwise the Miami Waterkeeper will provide all supplies).

The event will take place from 9:00am-12:00pm but you are welcome to leave anytime! It will be at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.

Parking is provided free of charge. Let the gate attendant know you are here for a beach clean-up and you will be let in for free.
