Athletes will compete in swimming\, cycling\, and running events throughout the park and along portions of the Rickenbacker Causeway.\n\n Event Details\n\n\n Event: Tri-Miami Triathlon #1\n Date: Sunday\, May 17\, 2026\n Location: Crandon Park\, 6747 Crandon Blvd.\, Key Biscayne\, FL 33149\n Participants: 300+ athletes and attendees\n\n\n Activity Schedule\n\n\n 4:00 AM 10:00 AM\n\n Cycling course operations and roadway traffic modifications on the Rickenbacker Causeway\n 7:00 AM 9:00 PM\n\n Running\, swimming\, finish line activities\, and awards ceremony inside Crandon Park\n\n\n Traffic Impacts & Roadway Changes\n\nMotorists should expect temporary traffic adjustments during the cycling portion of the race:\n\n\n Cyclists will travel westbound from Crandon Park toward Hobie Island before returning eastbound back to the park.\n Vehicle traffic will be shifted into a counter-flow traffic pattern on the south side of the Causeway during the race.\n The following areas will be temporarily closed:\n \n Hobie Island north-side beach access parking lot\n William Powell Bridge turnaround lane\n \n \n\n\nTraffic control and safety operations will be managed by the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office and local police personnel.\n\n Event Information\n\nThe triathlon includes:\n\n\n Open-water swimming\n Causeway cycling course\n Running course within Crandon Park\n Finish line festivities & awards
