On September 14\, 2021\, the Village of Key Biscayne was officially included in US Army Corps of Engineers' Tentatively Selected Plan (TSP) with Miami-Dade County as our local sponsor. If the plan is determined to be feasible for the island\, the Village could benefit from $120M in federal funding to protect our shoreline\, including 50 years of periodic beach re-nourishment.
