Key Biscayne residents and stakeholders are encouraged to get involved and learn more about the solicitation of a Request For Proposal (RFP) for road\, bridge\, park\, bicycle and pedestrian safety\, and coastal resiliency improvements and replacements for Rickenbacker Causeway and Venetian Causeway.\n\n\n\nMiami-Dade County wants your input! The County is hosting a virtual meeting to hear from the community and feedback will be incorporated into the RFP. This meeting will take place on Wednesday\, August 4 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE here.\n\n\n\nThis is an opportunity to learn more about Miami-Dade County's plans to design\, build\, operate\, finance\, and maintain Rickenbacker Causeway while participating in a robust community engagement process.\n\n\n\nPlease note that there will be opportunities for public comments\; public comments will be limited to two minutes.\n\n\n\nThe Aug. 4 meeting will be structured in 2 parts: the first part will be dedicated to the Rickenbacker Causeway and the second part will be dedicated to the Venetian Causeway.
