To help educate everyone about the dangers of smartphone distracted driving\, AT&T is bringing the IT CAN WAIT virtual reality simulator on tour to MAST Academy. The simulator is a virtual reality 360  driving experience showing the potentially deadly consequences of smartphone distracted driving. The IT CAN WAIT simulator is accompanied by knowledgeable campaign ambassadors and can be operated as a stand-alone educational program or incorporated into other public safety and educational programs.\n\n \nUsing the AT&T IT CAN WAIT VR app with the Samsung Gear VR headset\, Galaxy Note smartphone and Bose headphones\, students will experience the consequences of glancing at your phone while driving\, in a 3-D setting.\n\n \n\nThe VR tour was spawned by research from AT&T that shows:\n\n  Nearly 4 in 10 smartphone users tap into social media while driving.\n\n  Almost 3 in 10 surf the net. \n\n  About 1 in 7 is on Twitter behind the wheel.\n\n  And surprisingly\, 1 in 10 video chat.
