There are many good reasons to be acquainted with this alternative approach for dissolution of marriage\, i.e. divorce. With still about 50% of marriages ending in divorce\, it is likely that you know someone who will be getting divorced\; a friend\, neighbor\, family member\, client\, or colleague. This approach\, as compared to traditional litigation\, can help preserve families with the "best interest of the child" being the goal of this process.
