DESCRIPTION:The 9th Annual Fireworks Paddle is taking place July 4th at VKOC! Join them for the best view of multiple fireworks! Watch from your kayak or paddle board\, or from the beach for land lovers. Come early and enjoy tasty treats of your choice from the food trucks. The BBQ will be smoking with South Florida favorites!\n\n\n\nWHAT'S INCLUDED\n\n-Live Music\n\n-Paddle or Beach Hike\n\n-For Paddlers: boat or board\, life jacket\, paddle\, and lights\n\n-For Hikers: bug spray and Thermacell repellent lanterns for the group\n\n\n\nWHAT TO EXPECT\n\nFrom the water: Fireworks from South Beach and Bayfront Park shows from the comfort of our flotilla\; Coconut Grove\, Key Biscayne\, and the BIG SHOW -- Fisher Island right in front and almost on top of us. The route is sheltered and away from direct boat channel traffic.\n\nFrom Land: Fireworks from Fisher Island\, South Beach\, and Bayfront Park\n\n\n\nWHAT TO WEAR\n\nIf you're paddling come ready to get wet. Quick-dry workout clothes or beachwear are recommended. Flips flops tend to vanish so try water shoes or other closed toe shoes. Bring a towel\, change of clothes\, any comfort items you may like. Cameras are strongly recommended. If you're watching from the beach bring a seat for the beach or a blanket to sit or lay back and enjoy the show. Wear your patriotic best!
