It serves to unite the community in honoring the legacy at a space that was originally the only beach Black people could recreate in Miami.\n\n \n\nThe day will include free food (while supplies last)\, fun activities such as bounce houses\, water slides\, crafts and games and an opportunity to learn about the significance of Juneteenth and the park during the civil rights workshop. Enjoy food from vendors like Sweet Mini Donuts\, cold refreshments from Jackson Brother's IceCream while enjoying the sounds and music performances from DJ Tight\, Singer Brigitte Boisson\, San Juan USA Drummers and Demetry the steel pan player and many more.
